I had a chance to check out one of the regions newest wake park – Batam Wake Park last weekend. This is the second wake park in Batam, with the difference that it runs in a clockwise direction. Its only an hour ferry ride from Habourfront in Singapore and within 30 minutes of arriving in Indonesia, we’re ready to shred the Sesitec full cable system. Its also loaded with several quality obstacles (features) made by Unit in Germany and the water is fresh and clear.
They also have a restaurant and bar is available on site and even on-site massage can be arranged. For sure, dining is inexpensive and beers go for only S$3 a can.
The service you get is great and they even provide pick-ups if you fall, so you don’t have to take a long walk back to the starting dock. For beginners, they have a separate 2-tower System 2 cable system which allows beginners to get up in a much quicker on wakeboard than on the full system.
Currently, they are running a promotion rate of only S$88 until the end of the year and it includes the ferry, land transfers, lunch and all day riding at the park.
